Accounting & Auditing (A&A) Department

Anthony N. Bealka – September 24, 2007 – Tony brings to our A&A department experience in the A&A and tax departments of a local accounting firm. Tony received a bachelor's degree in accounting and finance from St. Cloud State University.

Bradley J. Helmeke, CPA – October 29, 2007 – Brad joins our A&A department as a director with over 20 years of experience in audit, tax, and business valuation. He holds a bachelor of science degree in business and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Minnesota.

Vicki L. Nelson – October 15, 2007 – Vicki joins our firm as an accountant, having worked for nine years in compilations, reviews, and audits at a regional accounting firm. She earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire.

Alice Y. Pan – October 1, 2007 – Alice joins the firm’s A&A department after working for two years in audit and tax preparation at an accounting firm in San Diego. Alice holds a bachelor of science degree in accounting from the University of Kentucky, law degree from Central University for Nationalities in Beijing, China, and a master's degree in accountancy from San Diego State University.

Anatoliy Shkurko – September 24, 2007 – Anatoliy joins our A&A department as an auditor. He earned a bachelor of science degree in accounting from the University of Minnesota and previously worked for two years in accounting at a manufacturing company.

Anthony T. Swierczek – November 5, 2007 – Tony brings to us several years of experience at a local CPA firm. Tony graduated from the University of Minnesota with a bachelor of science degree majoring in business, accounting, and finance, and also served in the United States Army. 

Tax Department

Claudette A. Charpenter – November 5, 2007 – Claudette joins our Tax department as a staff tax accountant with prior experience as a finance manager, tax preparer, compliance officer, and accounting clerk. She is a graduate of Metropolitan State University in St. Paul with bachelor of science degree in accounting.

Jacob D. Fishman – November 19, 2007 – Jake joins our firm as a staff tax accountant. In addition to several years of experience as an analyst, Jake has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree double majoring in finance and accounting from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.

Paul D. Nelson – November 1, 2007 – Paul joins our Tax department as a staff tax accountant. In addition to his prior tax and auditing experience, Paul has a bachelor’s degree in economics from Michigan State University and a master’s degree in taxation curriculum from the University of Minnesota.

Employee Benefits Department

Rosemarie S. Lunka – October 1, 2007 – Rosemarie joins our Benefits department as a pension administrator. She has over 15 years of experience in retirement and employee benefit plan administration.

LBL Technology Partners

John A. Mellas, CPA, CISA – October 22, 2007 – John joins our LBL Technology Partners division and is based in California. As well as auditing and tax experience, John has as a bachelor of science degree in accounting from California State University in Sacramento. He also served as a captain in the United States Army reserve.

Professional Administrative Staff

Vicki L. Sandell – October 1, 2007 – Vicki joins the firm as an executive assistant for Farley S. Kaufmann, CPA. For the past 15 years, Vicki worked as an administrative assistant supporting numerous programs for a local school district.

Building Maintenance Department

Kevin L. Eliason – September 18, 2007 – Kevin joins our Maintenance department as a maintenance technician. Kevin has worked for several years as a shop foreman and brings many years of general maintenance experience to our firm.
