Economic Outlook for 2011: What Every Business Owner Needs to Know

About the Presenter
Thomas Berner, CFA®, is an Economist within UBS Wealth Management Research. He concentrates on the U.S. economy with a strong focus on econometric modeling. His insights and forecasts of key variables of the U.S. business cycle serve as input for the overall UBS Global WM&BB investment strategy. He started his professional career as an economist with UBS Investment Bank in 2000, covering the Canadian and Swiss economies and later the U.S. economy. In 2002, he switched to Wealth Management as a U.S. economist and research assistant to the Global Head of Wealth Management Research. Apart from covering the U.S. economy, he is actively involved in formulating investment recommendations for the main asset classes as a member of the Global Investment Recommendations team.
