TIMOTHY B. SCHMIDT, CPA

Tim received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Moorhead State University in 1978.  A majority of his time is spent servicing professional practices and individual professionals: attorneys, physicians, engineers, and architects.  Tim attends national seminars every year to stay current on individual and business tax changes and to identify new tax savings opportunities.

Tim specializes in compensation formula design, deferred compensation, succession planning, business tax planning and individual tax planning.  He also develops and evaluates internal control systems for closely held businesses.

He is an editor of our firm's Medical Services Group Report and Profitable Law Practice Newsletter.  He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Minnesota Society of CPAs.  He also lectures on various tax and accounting issues.
