JOEL A. LEBEWITZ, CPA, JD

Joel is member of the Firm's Partnership Committee. He specializes in providing tax and consulting services to manufacturers, distributors and service companies in all areas of business including compensation systems, financial structure, taxation, and other business matters. He attended the University of Minnesota graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting in 1975 and from William Mitchell College of Law in 1979, after which he was admitted to the Minnesota Bar.

Joel has served the Metropolitan Economic Development Association (MEDA) for nineteen years; as a volunteer and board member. He has been honored as MEDA's Volunteer of the Year and has received the Small Business Administration's award for Minority Business Advocate. He also serves as a member of the University of Minnesota's China Center Advisory Counsel where he has assisted the China Center in bridging its activities to the business community.

Joel is a frequent lecturer on topics relating to business formation, structure, and tax related topics.

Joel is a member of the Tax Twenty Round Table, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Minnesota Society of CPAs.
